History Bay Area Buckeyes

How it started

In 2022 Coach (Hussel) Bryant and Coach Gallon decided to form a 7on7 team, in which became the Bay Area Buckeyes7v7. At the current time, we were just a local South Tampa team who competed only in South Tampa, in a League called (Under The Lights). After achieving extreme success, we wanted more challenges and a bigger platform for our kids, so we decided to make a change. That is where the idea came about. We have been coaching most of our kids for six-plus years now.

Bay Area Buckeyes are extremely blessed to have some of the best coaches in Tampa, as well as in Florida in general volunteering their time to instill great qualities into our kids, to make sure they become the best version of themselves not just on the field but off it as well. Some of our staff members have played the sport at all levels of the game, and some currently coach at Local Powerhouse Highschools in Florida, as well as at the collegiate level.
